Guitar Hero; falling short since GH3.

Ever since the reckoning of the behemoth we all know and worship, Harmonix's, Rock Band, all the Guitar Hero games have, in my opinion falling short.

The recent release, GH5, has some interesting new additions like Avatar play (which is a stupid idea, but fun anyway!), drop-in-and-out party play, and Instrument customization (again), and some the effects like the hair and clothes moving being massively overhauled and [sad to say it] is better than Rock Band's current effects.

So, with GH obviously over populating itself, im waiting for Rock Band 3 to once again, rip off a spotlight from GH's stage, and point it at themselves, and maybe, RB will emerge as the TRUE music experience.

PSA: The Rock Band Forums don't blindly hate the Guitar Hero series. In fact, the fifth installment is getting a lot of play from our members because *gasp* it's good!

Yeah, other than a questionable song list and some puzzling design choices, GH5 is the best GH game in a while. It's not Rock Band, mind you, but it's a satisfying substitute nevertheless.
