Well I'm in a boat now.
I got my replacment guitar, not much better than the first. Very unresponsive strum bar!!!! The new one is magnetic. The foam they put in there makes if feel spongy wow wonder why!!!! Anyways dosen't seem like there will be any fix to this I will have to wait until I can use my GH3 guitar in rock band if ever. I'm not going to play this keep sending back to get the same crap. If anyone knows of a fix please post.

Seems pretty responsive to me... I finished hard career (and bonus) with 4-5 stars on each song with the magnet pickups. Sure, it doesn't click, but it's quieter (even though the fret buttons are now very annoying).

I gotta agree with joe on this. I just got my PS2 bundle on the 20th. We played 2 hours that night and about 4-5 today. I think the strum bar is excellent. Light years ahead of my old Red Octane guitar. And I must be the one person who actually likes the new frets.
Here's a question for you guys. Do you play guitar for real? I'm not trying to start any s**t here, I'm just curious. I'm finding that non-guitar players like the old Red Octane guitars better, while real guitarists prefer the strat. Just an observation based on some very informal data collection.

I like the Strat much better then any of the Hero's (old and new) I have played. The strummer is completely quit which is awsome when playing on low volume. Was getting bi***ed out by the wife for playing too loud when all I really was doing was tryin to drown out the strummer...lol
