Band world tour mode

i know everyone is raving about wanting an online band world tour mode, but ive got a different complaint about band world tour.

my brother and i play the game pretty often. he has a hard time playing the game past medium difficulty, and i play most often on hard.

the problem is though, there are too many restrictions placed on us in band world tour mode because of this due to the cap on how many fans can be gained on each difficultly level and how a lot of aspects are locked until a certain number of fans have been reached. we are now at a standstill because of this, and it is really irritating us.

has there been any word announced about this or is there any similar concerns with this? opening up the number of fans to be uncapped based on difficultly level would only better serve to increase accessibility with this game, and im still confounded why this mechanic was put in.

this is neither new nor different. Checking the forum FAQ or doing a search will reveal 1000's of posts on this subject.

To sum up:

Nothing is locked by the fan cap except one or two venues with one or two set lists a piece.

You can still "complete" the game... ie: Get the endless setlist and the goodies that come with completing it, and play the hall of fame gig, with the goodies that came along with finishing that.

That said, it'd help quell a lot of these concerns if we could get an exact listing of what is locked to Hard or Expert. Nobody's really given details, and I've heard anything from "two setlists" to "a dozen setlists", which is important if you're shooting for those "Big in X" achievements.

You won't be able to get all the "big in" achievements unless you play on Expert. There are 2 set lists locked for expert players only, and (I believe) around 8 locked for Hard or above. (don't quote me, I'm not in the game scrolling through)

Once you beat the Hall Of Fame mode there are no more "Your manager says get more stars in XXXX city to unlock XXXX" you've gotten everything you can get.

So on medium you can get all the Vans, Jets, PR guys, Bodyguards, etc. etc. etc.

The only thing left that requires HARD or EXPERT level play is a couple of the "Big in" achievements.
