I've owned rockband for a little over three weeks now. So far I've had a guitar go bad, and my drum kick pedal take a crap. The designs are shoddy at best. Phone support is terrible. I couldn't get through the menu system to get to the warranty department. Tech support is not allowed to transfer you over. EA released way to early and unfortunately any one who owns it has seemed to be forced into beta testing the hardware. EA if your administrators read this, you should seriously consider hooking everyone up with the next edition of equipment considering the huge lack of quality with this first generation. Awesome game sure. However I wouldn't recommend it with the massive amount of hardware problems I've had and have heard about.
