Deleted Chars/Bands in profile WILL be fixed, right?

Just checking... HMX hasn't said word one about this issue. Given the game also doesn't seem to clear out deleted band names (I had to remake my Band as Band-with-a-period-on-the-end because of that!) I'm hoping this phantom character / phantom band problem isn't some sort of "feature" of the new community site, and will in fact be addressed...

At least I got my password reset email. Yay, I'm back!

I got Rock Band, my 360 died. I got a new 360, remade the band, only played once while connected to XBL, band shows up on the new site. Made a new band yesterday with some friends, but they didn't sign in to their profiles before going to the band screen, so today I removed the characters from the band, they made them again on their own profiles, played while connected to XBL for 3 hours. It took the site quite a while to even recognize the band existed, and currently shows myself as the only member. Also, the original band I made with my wife the night we got the game, and remade on the new 360, no longer exists but is still on the site. Rather annoying process if you ask me.

I did search. I just hadn't gotten that one in my search results.

As for characters not showing up in your band, I found that out the hard way as well that any character in a profile other than your own won't show... it does make some logical sense and I doubt it'll change. You'll have to wait until they delete phantom bands, and then remake using entirely characters under your profile, with your friends logged out of any profiles (just using 'guest' profiles).
