How about we don't and say that we didn't.
I don't have anything against this style (I dont really care for it) but even if I did like it I still don't see how it would fit in "ROCK" Band.

Well, there are a couple of good songs by the band "Zone" that I would really love to see, but I just don't see it happening. I can't type names here because I don't have the proper characters.
"Good Days" would be one I would like to see. It would be fun, but I don't think it would fit in overall

I'm an Anime fan and there are some J-Pop songs I like, but for real, I think most of the people don't want to sing in japanese. ;)

My thoughts exactly.
Besides, this is a worldwide game. I don't think non-otaku players would be appealed by this idea. The name Rock Band makes you immediately think of classics like the ones already announced.

I'd love to try my hand at "Evolution" by Ayu-chan, "Child Prey" by Dir-En-Grey, "Gekiai Merry-Go-Round" by Psycho-le-Cemu, "One-Winged Angel" [AC-version] by Nobuo Uematsu, or "Kurenai" by X-Japan. People need to broaden their horizons and listen to more than what's in English. Great songs not only in Japanese, but Spanish as well. "Malaguena Salerosa" by Chingon comes to mind.

There are awesome german bands as well, like Wir sind Helden, Die Aerzte or Kettcar.
But I just don't see something like this happening.

Heck yeah, German bands are great too. And English is a Germanic language so not a lot of people should complain about not being able to speak it... one can dream, can't they?

Oh yeah, another one I like is Sportfreunde Stiller. I mean, I have a thing for Rammstein too, but they're too overrated these days.
But the matter is, English is the universal language. So, if someone thought of throwing German bands into the game, first things to think would be Scorpions, Accept, Helloween, Blind Guardian... You get the picture.

Yeah probably.
Are you German? Because you seem to know a lot. I love Sportfreunde Stiller too by the way, "Ein Kompliment (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHQYolXvCro)" or "Ich Roque (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6zBOpCnFmk)" would be awesome in Rockband. :D
Actually I thought about individual RB versions for each country (just like Sony does it with Singstar - there are german songs on the german Singstar version), but I'm afraid Harmonix could remove great songs for adding german songs instead.
