I'd like to put Buckethead up for serious consideration...

Jordan was a decent choice for GHII but in reality he has many, many great tracks that surpass it in everyway such as:

NOTTINGHAM LACE
KING JAMES
NIGHT OF THE SLUNK
BREWER IN THE AIR
SOOTHSAYER
FROZEN BRAINS TELL NO TALES

plus many more...

ALSO...What about Ozzy Osbourne and NO I am not talking about songs from his Black Sabbath days...

What about CRAZY TRAIN...or any number of songs from his albums?

I am actually very surprised Crazy Train has still not been used in a game.

I love buckethead, but he is not right for this game. Unless the stuff is off the Buckethead and friend's album there is hardly any vocals (if any) in any of Buckethead's songs.

Im all for Ozzy though.

I am glad you agree more OZZY songs (not Black Sabbath) should definitely be included.

Concerning Buckethead, I figured someone would raise concerns to the lack of vocals in his tracks.

However, the drums and bass are indeed in his songs. So essentially the only thing missing is the vocals. I do not see Rockband as being a game that is really all about the vocalist.

Although this game uses vocals, I dont see why you would exclude great pieces of work based solely on one aspect of the game being that all others are being used.

Well I think Buckethead would be better for the GH series, but if you really wanted him We Are One could work pretty well.

As for Ozzy, I think that anything off of his 1st two solo albums would be great. Randy Rhoads is one of my favorite guitarists so I would love to play any of his songs. I think that even Ozzy's new stuff would be pretty cool. I wouldnt mind more Sabbath either. Ill take all of the good DLC I can get.

Definitely!

I am really surprised that after all of these games, they haven't used more stuff with Randy in it.

If they would make say a DLC pack ALBUM of 'Tribute' I am sure it would sell like crazy.

'We Are One' from Buckethead and Serj now thats definitely got a cool video although some might think its more funny than anything.

I'd buy anything from his first two albums, the ones with Randy Rhodes on guitar. But I would (in fact, did) also buy stuff from his Black Sabbath days.

Oh. Correction, I would not buy "Tonight" or "Goodbye to Romance" (unless they were part of whole-album downloads). But I might buy "Suicide Solution" twice. :)

I am actually very surprised Crazy Train has still not been used in a game.

Heh, maybe the cover version by Pat Boone ruined it for people.

Buckethead's cool but I'm all for Ozzy - Mr Crowley the Tribute Album Version is all I need. Bark at the moon anyone?

Bumpin' this thread to get more support for some OZZY songs and possibly Buckethead!

Any of the buckethead songs should go into guitar hero. The only one we would really get away with in Rock Band is something off of Buckethead and friends. But me personally, I'd like to see a Zakk Wylde pack before an Ozzy pack. Maybe, "No More Tears", a Steel Dragon song, and a BLS song. Or 2 /3 BLS songs would be fine too. Easy drums, no double bass really required.

I'd certainly like either some Buckethead or Ozzy.

For Buckethead songs, I'd personally go for some of the lesser-known songs of his. Anything with "Albert" on vocals would be just gold to sing on Rock Band. Who wouldn't want to take on the role of some psychopath talking about using people's face for masks, and good old Lime Time?

Also, Onions Unleashed would be a simple guitar part, but it would be fun to play just based off the song's pure principle. And there's nothing saying every song has to be impossible just because it can be.

For Ozzy, pretty much any of his Bark at the Moon/Diary of a Madman era songs would be great. Crazy Train, Rock 'n Roll Rebel, etc. Songs from No More Tears would be amazing too.

Let me add some suggestions to the OZZY slate that I have not seen mentioned:

Hellraiser
Ultimate Sin
Breaking All The Rules
Perry Mason
Shot In The Dark
