Rock Night Rules

I have a weekly get together at my apartment to play Rock Band and on the door I always post the rules. I figured they were good for a laugh.

The first rule of Rock Night is - you do not talk about Rock Night.

The second rule of Rock Night is - you DO NOT talk about Rock Night.

Third rule of Rock Night, someone yells F#@$ This Song!, gives up, fails out three times, the rock is over.

Fourth rule, only four rockers to a band.

Fifth rule, one song at a time, fellas.

Sixth rule, no sweatbands, no mullets.

Seventh rule, songs will go on as long as they have to.

And the eighth and final rule, if this is your first night at Rock Night, you have to sing.

The rock would be over for me quickly though, when I play expert drums or guitar "f*ck this song!" is basically my catch phrase.

Dang...lots of rules for a musical style that was suppose to go against the established rules of the society ;)

I attended a party last Saturday and the host of the evening had a rule that we had to get the 'older' crowd involved during the night. It took some coaxing but finally we got 'old school':

So sometimes rules are meant to encourage fun!
