I am having a problem playing some of my DLC. I recently deleted about 1 GB of songs from my HDD so that I could get DLC for a different game. I deleted these songs with the intent of DL them again later once I have upgraded my HDD (ive got a 20GB with about 100MB left). For some reason I am having trouble accessing several of the songs that I did NOT delete. The problem is not affecting all of my DLC either. For example, I can play all of the A7X songs, but I cant play Bat Country. Also, I cant play any of the Texas Flood Album. These are things that I would have definately not deleted. I am not sure that the usual suspects are whats causing this problem. All of my songs were DL through my console, so it should not be a relicensing issue. I find it odd that it does not affect all of my DLC. The songs do not play a preview in the song selection menu. Could I have corrupted the data on my HDD when I deleted so much other music? Is there an easy way to update my song list, or clear my cache? I would appreciate any suggestions anyone may have. I am not online at this time, so any offline solutions would be appreciated. If there is nothing offline I can try out online solutions later. Thanks in advance for your help.

Here's how to clear the DRM cache and rebuild:
Go to the System Blade, then go into Memory -> Hard Drive -> Games -> Rock Band
In there, you'll find a file called Rock Band Downloaded Song Data (or something very similar to that).
Delete that file. Do NOT delete your Save Game file.
Then go into the Rock Band 2 folder. In there, delete the "Rock Band 2 Music Store Data" and "Rock Band 2 Song Cache" files.
Then make sure you're signed into XBL and restart the game. It'll ask you to pick a storage device for your DLC data cache. Just pick your hard drive and it'll rebuild all the DRM cache and you should be good to go.

Ok, so will I have to be signed into XBL (online) to redownload the Rockband Downloaded song cache or will it reload the song cache from the HDD the 1st time I start up the game after deleting it (i.e. detect what I have already downloaded) ?
Thanks alot!

The Downloaded Song Cache file is not downloaded, it is created by the game based on what DLC files you have. But in order for it to create that file, you will need to be signed into XBL when you start the game so it can verify your gamertag.
