Kick Pedal Issues

I bought Rock Band about 2 weeks ago hoping that my guitar and drums would be fine. I couldn't test anything out because I couldn't open my XBox 360 until Christmas, so I hoped it would turn out to be a good model.

I was reading the forums a week ago and found out that the drumset and guitar work with the computer, so I plugged them in and hoped for the best. After an hour of hard up and downstrumming my guitar works fine, and I hope it stays that way. The problem is with my drumset. I downloaded DrumIt to test my drums out and I get random "double-steps" and I heat the kick pedal go off twice. Is this a issue that I should be worried about or am I just placing my foot the wrong way or something stupid like that? It could also be the computer.

It might just be my foot. I guess time will only tell

DrumIt is definitely more sensitve with the bass pedal. Rock Band isn't like it at all.

Don't worry about response with the pedal, Rock Band is flawless. Your other worry will be breaking the pedal lol.
