4 Days after I request EXPRESS replacement for my defective drum kit, I get an EMPTY box.

After no response on the email/my questions page, I give EA a call.

I am told to write a note and send the empty box in. I tell the rep that I'll be out of state next week and I have to get the replacement within the next 8 days or I won't be able to finish the whole process within the 28 days allowed before I get charged $125. [The man absolutely refuses to let me speak to an english speaking supervisor]

He assures me that it'll be there within 2 days. I check the UPS tracking and it says the empty box is being shipped via GROUND shipping; it's going to take 7 days.

I call 1800 959 7331 today, but they're closed on weekends. I either need them to ship me the replacement asap or I have to cancel the whole thing since I won't be abide by the 28 day slot.

What's a guy to do?!?!

OK, WOW, EA has totally redeemed themselves.

I tried calling 1 (650) 628-1001 just now, and I got in touch with some really helpful reps. They cancelled the old RMA request and were really helpful trying to figure out when/how/where to send an express replacement. I really felt like a valued customer!

EDIT: I was also told that a possible cause of the problem might have been that I used an american express card
