Head of Guitar Question...

Hey, i was trying to pack up rock band to bring to a friends house but i do not know how to take of the head of the guitar so it will fit in the original box. Can anybody help me out? I just created my account for the Rock Band forums a few minutes ago so i am also not positive if i posted this in the right area... Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, You have to disassemble the headstock in order to remove it from the neck. It can be done with a screwdriver relatively quickly. There are a few threads on here which include pictures.

Only way to take the head off is it disassemble the guitar.

It's not designed to be removed (easily). You can unscrew the back and detach the neck, but I couldn't tell you how to do so properly. ;)

thanks bro... is it even worth taking the time to do though? or should i just suck it up and kitty corner it in the RB box...?

If you really want to put it in the box, you'll have to leave the head sticking out and carry it separately from the Special Edition box.

And if you plan to carry it around a lot, I have two words for you: gig bag.
