St. Pepper is awesome. But yeah Abbey Road's date was announced before the game was even released. So maybe we'll get an announcement tomorrow. Only 3 Tuesdays left in November.

I thought the date was already announced: 19 November (for PS3 anyway). I could be wrong, but I thought I remembered reading that somewhere.

We can kinda guess at price, since the pack should include: Fixing a Hole, She's Leaving, Mr.K, Within You Without You (real version), 64, Lovely Rita, Reprise, and A Day in the Life. Eight songs would normally total $16 if bought separately, so I'd expect some cheapy discount, maybe $14.99, maybe $13.99.

Wii users recently got their free song codes from Gamestop and the e-mail indicated that Sgt. Pepper's will be released "on or around November 15." I'm guessing we'll have the new dlc on the 17th since that's a Tuesday.

I'm surprised that Harmonix has not yet announced the release date for Sgt. Pepper's. If it is indeed released on November 17th like many of us expecting, then the announcement should be in the coming week at the latest.

I'm more excited for Rubber Soul. Sgt. Pepper's will probably be the weakest, in my opinion, of the DLC albums so far announced.

I agree. I mean, it doesn't have as much songs as the other two, or the novelty of the Medley. And the lack of guitar doesn't help.
It's really the lack of guitar in most of the remaining songs that kills the full album purchase for me.

I'll most likely only be getting Lovely Rita (there's nice acoustic guitar and a solid bass line) and possibly A Day in the Life (although the strumming would be a bit boring). I will not be purchasing the entire album because there would be too many songs in which I wouldn't be playing guitar on guitar.

I'll have to wait until Christmas to get money for those points, and Rubber Soul will probably be released earlier in that week anyway, so no worries there.

1) The server is fixed before release for us PAL PS3 players.

2) It comes out for the PS3 in all regions at the same time, unlike last time.

3) The pricing is looked at by humans and not just some weird conversion applied between currencies.

in that internet interview with one of the HMX guys, they said all 3 albums would cost 1360 MSP, however, this may be untrue and the HMX may not have been thinking when he said this since if you do the math, that would make it cheaper to buy individual Pepper songs than the whole album pack.

Unless there's some sweet album only bonus.

They have to do something extra with the album, the thing that made people buy Abbey Road entirely was because of the medley, they should put out some pictures of the era, at least one video (I want to see a little part of the Sgt. Pepper's movie that was cancelled) that's not A Day in the Life.

It's almost necessary to have a special feature in the album.

I wonder if they'll keep the normal voice for the game. It wouldn't be the same without it, but it would be harder if someone wanted to sing at that pitch, and Paul wouldn't sing live like that.

A Day In The Life is definitely special enough. it's one of their best songs.

I hope they add an option to play all the songs in the album without breaks. I enjoy watching the dreamscapes while I try to play. I was playing sgt. pepper/ with a little help from my friends and I loved the dreamscapes in it now thats one of the songs i play the most along with good morning good morning.

I am curious how they are going to do "sgt. pepper's lonely hearts club band (reprise)/ A day in the life" in the menu without confusing players between this and the first song on the album. It kinda looks like (reprise) is going to take up the rest of the text on the menu leaving players to overlook a day in the life. It would be cool though if good morning good morning was at the beginning. heck they got "the end" to fit in with the dlc addins on the abbey road album
