I paid full price for Lego Rock Band, why does my green case have six holes on each side of it? It makes the case more flimsy.

Protection of the Disc is my Number One concern. These holes make is so much easier for dust to enter..

I just trash them & replace them.. Doing my part to balance your part.

At least the cardboard CD Cases protect the Disc.

I'm pretty sure its not just this game. I've seen a bunch of recent releases that use the new model. And I'm sure its more about money spent on plastic material than "eco" consciousness.

Easier for dust to enter? Just how much dust can possibly get in, when those holes are covered by the paper and plastic coverings, which are kept fairly tight when the case is closed?

Complaining about the eco cases is almost pointless here. Microsoft took the initiative and announced that they would be doing this. Complain to Microsoft. My PS3 case is still solid plastic.

My Super Smash Bros. Brawl disc must have suffocated then. It spent the rest of its life in its case after getting Rock Band 2, and now gets an error on half the characters. :(
