I have never played either of these games. But I would like a nice rythym game that incorporates the drums/beats, while waiting for rockband. So......which one do you think I would enjoy more?

I enjoyed Frequency more. Other than a, imo, superior tracklist, I'd credit it to nostalgia though. It was really the first music/rhythm game I ever got into. It's really easy to get into and you'll be kicking butt in minutes.

I liked amplitude more just because i liked the songs way more, other than that, amplitude and frequency are pretty much the same.

amplitude, for the betetr track layout and overall a more fun game IMO. There's some awesome tracks on Frequency but it's pace and difficulty are a bit too high even in the easier tracks. Plus Amplitude had a great multiplayer component. I never played online but me and my frineds used to play it non-stop every weekend.

Amplitude was the first game to turn me onto music gaming. I've followed almost all the harmonix games since then.

I liked the way you could circle all the way around the tube you traveled down in Frequency, I could never really get over the fact that you had to travel across all the tracks to get from the right most track to the left most in Amplitude.
