About a week before release I decided I'd probably buy it. Might as well get the keychain while I'm at it, so I pre-ordered.

It came with an exclusive keychain. I almost left the store without it, they forget sometimes, so you gotta ask for it. That sucks bro...

Can't believe there's no online, and they only have 45 songs compared to RB2's 84 (and with free DLC 105)

RB1 had 58 songs. This game is 10 bucks cheaper than RB1.

What about it? Theres no online. It doesnt say on the box that there is online play.

I always pre-order a game I plan on getting in full beforehand so I can just walk-in, show my ID, and get the game home ASAP. LEGO Rock Band was no exception.

Almost true. I had it preordered for a while, but when they announced a full export, there was no way it was getting canned. Awesome game, btw. Much better than I expected. Still a glorified expansion pack, but it's the best expansion pack so far by a long shot. As an aside, the full export here, combined with the joke of exporting in GH5/BH and the god awful band hero demo, caused me to cancel my BH preorder. Activision refuses to do it right. Other then that ****storm beatles game, harmonix has stayed true to their word. I think I'm finally done with the competition. Now if EA just didn't cancel RB3 earlier today...

The day I found out that I could get it for a discount price at Argos in the UK so it's costing me £27.99 instead of £39.99 I preordered it.

I pre ordered it from EB Games, because I wanted to make sure I had a copy on day one. Plus the keychain was a nice surprise.

I pre-ordered from Amazon. I didn't get a keychain. I don't really care though. I didn't know about that until just now.

I pre-ordered because I wanted it right away. Well, I guess I should specify. I pre-ordered because I wanted the songs themselves right away. I didn't care so much for the game, because I didn't expect it to be as fun as it is.

Just realized that I never got my keychain?! I never got my 3 free song code for The Beatles: Rock Band, either! What in the name of shenanigans is going on here?!

^^^Actually true, but the awesomeness of both games is the reason that I forgot about my pre-order bonuses. Pre-ordered both from GameStop.
