can you sing harmonies over xbox live

I was wondering if multiple people can sing over xbox live or is it only local. sorry if this is a stupid question. just dont know.

I would guess there would be too much of a delay to make it feasible

Not that I have tried but I wouldn't think it mattered. When I tried RB1 online and we had a singer, we didn't hear him on our end. It just played the regular singer and we just saw his score update. It didn't carry his voice over to our systems. Now since you couldn't hear the others, you'd have to work out who got which part since you couldn't adjust in game but I'd think it could be done.

No, you can't sing harmonies over XBL. All singers have to be on the same console.
