The only funny reaction I witnessed recently happened when my largely music-ignorant cousin came over to stay with us for the weekend to get out of a trip to the other side of his family. We were doing homework, and I had "Candy Says" playing. He started reaching for his headphones, and I ran across my room, knocked 'em out of his hands, and had him come sit next to me during the song so I could make sure he gave it at least a shot. He started with a really cynical "not br00tal enuff" look, and by the end of the song, his face had loosened, and he begrudgingly asked if I had any more like it.

Well, I just have to say this...it annoys the girl who said this to me when I mention it back to her:

I'm the only kid who actively listens to Alanis in my school...the rest is either metal/electronic/hip-hop, or that annoying Radio Pop.

The latter is sadly the majority. xD
