well im getting rock band and i was wondering what songs are ready to play as soon as you put the game in

The only ones I remember being available pretty much right away were Say it Ain't So, Here it Goes again, and In Bloom. Then again it's been a month so I may be wrong.

I know you can play Gimme Shelter and Wanted Dead or Alive out of the box.

If you're playing Band World Tour, the songs you have available early will depend somewhat on where your home town is.

If you're playing solo tour, I believe the first venue set list varies from instrument to instrument.

And if I had my PS3 with me, I'd tell you what they were. As it is, someone else will have to fill it in.

Also, if you play solo tour and then include that character in your band, whatever songs the character opened up on solo tour will be available for make-your-own and mystery set lists right from the start.
