You guys made a very fleeting joke in LEGO Rock Band about Blur's song "Country House". Specifically, the special gig when you're asked to play "in a very big house in the country".

You don't understand.

I piddled myself, I was laughing so hard.

i was laughing the whole time when playing ghostbusters in the haunted house
1- because i love that song and it brought a lot of nostalgia
2- because the whole theme is funny as hell, with the roadies saying ghostbusters in the screen and the guy running away in the corridor just like the 1st film and etc.

that was the most epic thing i ever saw in a music game :D

Yeah, the Ghostbusters thing was pretty cool where they re-enacted scenes from the movie and the music video with Lego characters. I also was laughing uncontrollably at the Abduction scene involving a certain member of a certain band, and your Lego character coming out in just boxer shorts. Made me cringe and laugh at the same time. :p

I agree, the theme associations have been spot on.

I liked the three pack for the racetrack party since it was a wide range of genre's with a common theme.

They have all been rather funny.

And as ar as appreciation threads go, I love em.

They make the haters grind their teeth and that too is always appreciated.

I'm gonna have to agree with you here Doc. The game has been a blast for me. How some of the songs fit the venues or challenges has cracked me up. There have been more than a few threads whining about LEGO:Rockband, it's nice to see a good one. Thumbs up from me.:D

I believe most of the content in the game is due to TTales, not HMX. That would include the jokes.

I chuckled when, after beating the "Breakout" challenge with the frozen boat in the Arctic, one of the characters unlocked was Maynard Winter.

I also liked the "Monkey Show and Spinal Tap" gag
