For fans of the Mystery Science Theater crew their new company Rifftrax will be putting on another live show in theaters on the 16th of December. As said this will be a live showing broadcast to several theaters around the country. A encore will be played the next night.

I saw a version of Plan 9 From Outer Space this way and it was great. In addition to riffing the film they had a 50’s short about stewardesses plus they had several original sketches. Jonathan Coulton was there and did a sing along with the audience. (Including Re: Your Brains)

The 16th will feature all Christmas related shorts and the guest is set to be Weird Al Yankovic. I really had a blast at the first show so I figured I’d pass this along to all the smart asses (Misty fans) out there.

Already bought my ticket for it in Lancaster. Missed the live show for Plan 9. Will not miss live show for this!!!

I already got my tickets too. It was pretty full for the last one so I excpect this one to sell a lot more, that's why I figured I'd give the heads up to those intrested.

Plan 9 was awesome. The movie doesn't need a commentary to be funny but the boys were on their game that night. Plus you get the energy of the crowd. :)
