Um, okay. Wow.
I dunno what to say.
I'm pretty skeptical about stuff like this.
And I'm also not sure what to think about the tracks. They're pretty good, but, for a cassette tape recording, they sound pretty digitalized.
Argh. I dunno. This is confusing.

And another question popped up in my head: where's Paul's brilliant bass playing!?
[edit]
Kay, the last track comes close. But.. Meh.

Now that I've thought about it, it has more sense, damn I wish those theories of parallel universes were confirmed. This is why I can't see/read/listen any conspiracy/possible theories, because I always end up with doubts. Damn.
But why on September 9 of this year, exactly the same day that the remasters and the Game were released, and that Ringo screamed: "I GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS"? That's strange...

Wow, after reading the story, I expected the album tracks to just be a cover band, but listening to them it's pretty clear that they're just quirky mashups and audio collages.

Yeah, I'm starting to think that, too.
And ugh, "Saturday Night" sounds too Jonas Brothers-y.

Yeah, and he took a good time writing the story, if it's fake. I'm starting to think this will become the new Rosswell.

Did RIngo ever say anything about accepting fan mail anymore?
Guys... this is really silly, really. Well done though im digging the mashups.

In England, we call them "chips."
Anyway, GOODNESS GRACIOUS. Of COURSE this is fake. It's called viral marketing. These are really great mash ups, made by some guy who wants to have a career making stuff like this.

What would they say? This is as true as the theory that Paul is dead! They are not going to say: "Oh yes, we've seen our parallel band from another universe, they are quite good", if this thing is even true, they wouldn't know it. Although, I would like to live in an universe with John and George alive.

Makes me wonder why people like that don't just say "LOOK I MADE THESE COOL MASHUPS, WHADDAYA THINK?" instead of making up a story about a parallel universe.
And a cassette tape.... At least get an LP or something.
I always contradict myself with stuff like this. One side of me wants to believe it, cos it'd be totally cool. but my first thought is always "Yeah, right".

Really cool story and I really like the mashups. It's obviously fake, but it's still awesome. Actually remembering trying to explain this to someone who thought he could do something better like find the cure for cancer if they had it rather than just saying "OMG A NEW BEATLES ALBUM!"

That will never grow old on me. Never. But seriously it seems that for him the best way to get people hear his mashups is telling a fake story that actually gives hopes for some people (it actually works sometime) that the Band never split and that John and George are still alive in other universe.

I don't quite know why anyone doubted this was a remix even for a second. The first song is clearly just Band on the Run mixed with When We Was Fab, with guitar from I'm Moving On. I mean, it's a nice remix and a sweet little story the guy has cooked up but there you are.
You people need to brush up on your Beatles solo albums. ;)

Trans-dimensional portals opened and one man claimed to have gone through and come back.
Few believed him; most had claimed that he was a liar.
Some called him crazy. Others said he was just a fanatic.
But nobody could have foreseen the impact he would have on our world.
His name was James Richards.
This is his story.

What songs is he getting the vocals from? I know a few of them (Track 4 is Gimme some Truth) but... damn they're well mixed.
This all seems like something from the mind of Douglas Adams.

I would not at all be the least bit surprised if the dude behind the Beachles mashups (combining Sgt. Pepper with the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds) a few years ago was behind this 'discovery'...

Guess that Apple's worst fear came to reality, the vocals, guitar, bass, drums, and sometimes piano parts of the songs from the band were leaked. Or he had something to separate them, could he have access to the master tapes?

Theres no way he would have acess unless he worked at Abbey Road or is a Beatle. I'm on to you Ringo. ;)

Yeah it's just a mash up/collage album. But why the science fiction?
Well, if master tracks of the Beatles DID get leaked out, it would be insanely illegal to create any mash up CD's and sell them without having Apple Corp coming after you with handcuffs.
This mixer probably just really wanted to make something interesting with the master tracks and share it to the world. So he probably cooked up this science fiction story in order to hide the fact that he created a mix with illegally obtained Beatles Master Tracks but still allow him to share his mix to the world.
Pretty neat idea.
---
But why now? With The Beatles: Rock Band out, ripping master tracks or obtaining leaked tracks seems all more plausible now.

These seem to be mostly/all taken from post-Beatles solo songs, not Beatles songs, so I doubt he's doing anything especially scary or impressive.
People make mashups like this all the time. These ones actually sound particularly chaotic and bizarre, so I don't see how anyone would mistake them for not-mashups. I'm pretty sure the story is just there for the sake of making the website more interesting, I don't think he particularly expects people to believe it.
