it is sooooo fing annoying that my parents wont let me open rock band until christmas, here i am totally on break from school bored out of my mind, knowing that somewhere in some closet in the house is sitting my precious copy of rock band.... grrrr i wanna play!!!! honestly santa is a ***** for making me wait until christmas....i am starting to believe those rumors at school that he doesn't exist....

Yes, of course they will: the last few days before Christmas when you know you're getting something you REALLY want always go by faster than summer vacation (which, of course, just seems to drag on forever).

I believe that all the defective equipment is Santa's punishment to all the bad little boys and girls who opened their rock Band before Christmas. Of course this theory only holds water if everyone who had to wait has equipment that works flawlessly right out of the box.

I tried to use my half-brother as an excuse (since I don't get to see him often and he's coming here tomorrow or the next day) but mom says I gotta wait until tomorrow night. I just hope the guitar/drums aren't defective. That would suck!

I'm 25 and feel the same way! :D I'm going to my sister's house and playing it with my parents, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews on my projector. Way fun!

I go to college in FL and I'm on vacation in NY with my family. No friends, nothing to do all day but Halo 3 and GH3. And BOY do they get old fast when played alone. Top it off, the box with Rock Band in it from Amazon is sitting right in the entrance hall, so I look at it everytime I go in or out of the house. Santa Clause you :eek: ING :mad: HOLE

I am bubbling over with excitement. Not for me, but for my kids. They don't even know RB was released for PS2. Every time we go to Walmart, they see the boxes of RB sitting there and they whine. Then I always point out the ones who have them in their carts and say, "well SOMEONE is getting RB for Christmas". Since you can't find it in stores, they have never seen it, and don't have a clue it exists. They are going to be very confused tomorrow.

Only bad thing is, we are due at our friends house at 1pm tomorrow. Boy it's going to be hard to leave RB here while we go out for the day/evening. :s

Now that is one AWESOME dad, I remember my parents pulling that trick on me when I wanted Nintendo 64 when it came out. It was sooo hard to find and that is absolutely all I ever wanted for like the month leading up for christmas. Ever time we went to the mall he would always point out the people who had one, and remind me that I wasn't getting one. He had one underneath the tree that he had waited in line for since launch day...maybe the best christmas ever:D

well maybe not since I am getting rock band tomorrow morning!!!!!!

Hang in there guys, you're in the home stretch now! I have a relative who is getting RB tomorrow and I think I might be more excited than he is because I'll have someone else to play with! I'm not even sure if he is aware he is getting it but I have had to fight the urge to call him and talk about when we can get together or get online and play once he opens it Christmas morning.

Lucky people who get to tear open the box on christmas, I don't get that privelage. My privelage is having to wait for it another 2 or 3 days and just getting it whenever ;_; no ripping things up.....
