Cream - Badge
This song's got soul! The musical ego of each of the members of Cream comes out in this song, lending itself pretty well to Rock Band.

The Allman Brothers Band - Whipping Post
The ominous bass line in the beginning of this song says volumes! This would be one challenging song for the whole band, each instrument has a very distinct voice in the song, and of course there are guitar solos. The bridge of this song also rocks. Give it a listen!

Steely Dan - Reelin' in the Years
Now I don't now how comfortable your rock band would feel covering Steely Dan, but this song would be very fun and challenging for each instrument. The guitar work drives this song.

Tell me what you think about these choices!

A solid choice but for classic Clapton I'd rather see Blind Faith "Can't Find My Way Home".

Amen! Can't think of a better choice for an ABB track! Ideally, I'd like to see a ABB 3-pack with Whipping Post, Revival, and Melissa.

Don't really think this on fits in well with the set. It's an OK song but stylistically wrong for the pack. Instead... Think about Joe Walsh and James Gang "Funk No.49"
