Exporting question...yes another one

Ok well i stumbled upon a free export code but to my dismay i found out i need the game disc to export the songs. What i'm wondering is if i buy a used copy of LRB that's code has already been used, can i use that disc to redeem my code that i already have? I'm guessing you must be able to but i just want to make sure before i drop money on this game if i cant export it with a code i got separately.


P.S. Sorry for another thread on this topic, i know most of you must be sick of them.

It doesn't matter what disc you have (as long as it's Lego Rock Band), they're not tied directly to the code.

May I suggest the OP goes back to the GameStop or rental outlet and buy/rent the disc he found the code in?

I am sorry to dumb down this one, all other rock band discs all i did was enter the code and it downloaded from the store, do I need the actual disc in the system, that is new
