I think i beat it on my second or third try, but even though i'm half way through expert now, i still cant beat it consistently! That song is ridiculous. I'm afraid of it on expert...

The trick I used for beating it was not missing any of the slow parts, and above all else, don't miss any of the bass pedal hits. Try not to use your star power until you are on the verge of dying and then pray for lots of good hits and try not to get relaxed while you're using it. Do your best to stay on beat and remember that the song isn't too long. Good luck:D

I'm stuck on this one as well... this video is helping me a bit... just kind of listening to the patterns of the "live" drums instead of the ones in the game.

just posted on this last night: http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17238
in short, I had a really hard time trying to get the three sets of red beats, every other ending in a yellow. i can do it in concept, i just can't keep up with the tempo of the song.
plus, the yellow was in a position where a snare would ordinarily hit.
so the way i beat it was crossing arms, hitting the yellow with my left stick and just hitting maybe every other note with my right stick on the red pad.
you dont score very high, but its not quite bad enough to fail.

That song sucks! It took me three days of nothing but that song to complete it on hard.

To me, that would make the song good. But I suppose not everyone wants a challenge.
Hmm, reminds me of that guy who posted around here about having everything unlocked from the start because it was too much effort otherwise.

so am i the only one who thinks this song is a little easier on expert than hard.
on hard there are notes not being played that are being played on expert and succeed at making it easier for me to play.
those triplets are awful, and the bass they put in on hard difficulty is on the offbeat, yet on expert the full bass hits are there which makes it easier, and the notes arent triplets anymore. hmmm?

I don't mind songs that I have to play 4, 5, 6 times to beat. But playing the same song for three days sucks. If only it wasn't the last song I had to beat to complete the hard solo tour.

There aren't any triplets in that pattern. Just eighths and sixteenth noted. Three notes in a row does not a triplet make...
That being said, I agree, it is easier on expert. All the notes are there so you play what you hear, and you don't have to break up the straight sixteenth note patterns with eighths.
