RB2 hangs when trying to play multi-song sets

I'm currently deployed to Iraq, I hope the answer to this isn't that I need to connect to the internet for an update....here's the problem: Almost every time I go to play a multi-song setlist (particularly mystery sets), either before the song starts or after I complete one of the songs, the score screen comes up, the band struts around the stage, and the crowd cheers, and cheers, and cheers, and cheers...well, you get the point. I end up having to quit and restart the game in order to play anything else.
Don't think it's an issue with the disc - it is brand new and only used for about three days. Maybe a DLC issue (downloaded before I deployed)? HELP!! It sucks not being able to play all of the sets!

Is it happening with on-disc songs, or only DLC (mystery setlists)?

If it's happening even when you play an on-disc setlist, it could be a problem with your disc. If it's only DLC, it's possible that one or more of your downloaded songs is corrupt.
