Christmas DLC

Does anyone know what it will be? Or when they will announce the DLC? Or know of any rumors going around the internet? Thanks!!!

we will find out tomorrow. check the announcement portion of the forums here, or check xbox360fanboy.com in the afternoon. if you own a ps3, there won't be DLC this week.

Just to clarify for PS3 users, this week's DLC and next week's DLC will both be released next week, so PS3 users won't be missing anything that 360 users get...just waiting a little longer for it than usual.

Yup, I'd expect an announcement in the mid-late afternoon depending on what time zone you're in, and you're in luck because only us 360 owners will be getting DLC hehe.

No prob. I just didn't want my fellow PS3ers looking for someone's head, thinking Harmonix was treating us as shoddily as Activision is.

(Not only are they blocking the patch, but they've released ten more downloadable songs for GH3 on the 360 than on the PS3.)

Also, I feel sorry for all the people who bought the PS3 one. GEEZ, guitar hero guitar doesn't work with rock band. Now, the DLC gets delay (it would suck worse if it turns out to be christmas music :)). HMX should give they like free points or something, for PS3 owners for all the bad things that happened to these people.

Personally, I'm not bothered by how we were treated, because Harmonix has done nothing but try to make sure we don't feel like second-class citizens.

Yes, there are a few features PS3 owners would like (primarily voice chat and the ability to preserve the names of the players you've met), but the wireless guitar makes me very happy, and I don't mind the two-day wait between 360 DLC release and PSN.

And this week's delay is simply because Sony has taken the week off. I'll never begrudge anyone giving their employees time off during the holidays.

Activision, on the other hand, has made it perfectly clear they don't consider us at all when making decisions where GH3 is concerned.

Yup. It just comes down to which company respects their customers more. Harmonix knows they are where they are because they keep us all happy, regardless of platform, so it's obviously a high priority for them.

BTW, hows the wireless rock band guitar? Oh, and are the drums and microphones wireless?

The wireless guitar works very well. Much better than the GH3 Wii guitar. No delay.

The drums and mic are wired.

As a PS3 owner I am kinda glad that they are not going to have any DLC for us this week because my bank account and credit cards are hurting right now :p
