Update: Facebook App only works for people 18+. The firmware makes Twitter a major pain to navigate on the browser. -_- I DO like the new photo system though and changing the color on your profile is ok I guess.

You access the Facebook app in "account management", I don't believe there is a twitter app. You can use Facebook and Twitter in the Browser.

And really the FB app isn't really "accessing facebook". What it does is it gives you the option to link your Facebook account to your PSNiD and it'll update your FB status by what game you're playing, that trophies you just got, ect. Nothing special.

It kept begging me to download it while trying to sign in on the PSN yesterday, but I continually refused. I don't want Facebook taking over my PS3, so what's the point in downloading it if I won't use it?

I dislike the no facebook under 18 thing. what's the difference? TONS of people under 18 have a facebook (as evidenced by me and Soratar), and if they're already allowed to have a facebook account and a PSN account, why can't they link them together?

I'm in favor of it, mainly to screw with children. I'm also in favor of eliminating all TV programming except for PBS and requiring liver at every meal.
