Headset issues

My headset wont work at all with the guitar or drums. I know that it works because i use it all the time while playing halo and other games. I don't know if its the guitar and drums (i got it RB the first day it came out, so they're like the oldest models) but its really making me mad. Does anyone else have these problems? Or can anyone help me? ...Ideas and such.

(Also, do you think I should just send em into warranty?)

And also I made sure its all the way plugged in. Still nothing. Could it be the little "mic connectors" that come with the game?

First, just so you know, you can send these into EA for a warranty replacement or you could go to a Radio Shack and buy them pretty cheap if you so desire. I have also had problems with my headset adapters, in fact one of them will not work at all. The one that does work required me to keep plugging the headset jack into the adapter repeatedly until it finally worked. Hope this helps!

It is the short 4 or 5 inch cord that has a mini jack on one end and the female connection on the other end. It is the mic connectors that you are talking about. The ones that came with the bundle.

I've had the same issues. I've also been told that it is the small adapter cords that came in the box with the hub. I have no idea how to replace them. Any clues anyone? I can talk to people on line using my guitar hero 3 guitar and my headset. have the headset plugged in before you turn on the xbox.
