The first round of DLC was great. CCR, Foreigner, I loved it. But if the songs announced from the next round are any indication, we're in trouble.
The Sounds? The Material? The Myriad? Who the **** are those bands?

Well I would have put down a bunch of Beatles songs, but you know how much of a ***** it would be to get those songs cleared for use.

The authors need to pay homage to the roots of rock and include these many names all ready fronted earlier in this thread.
All the bands and player in the game all ready, all with out doubt, publicly admit to the Clapton's, Morrison's and Page's as being their influences and I as a picker always go to the bands influences to understand the band I am pick'in on
Please Stand Up and do whats right for the many of pickers who paved the way!

I'd love to see some more classic rock and some Southern Rock like .38 Special.
On the other hand, Harmonix doesn't need a "clue" for a lot of the content. They have expressed in a few interviews their desire to have many requested bands, but there is a lot to get through with licensing tracks, labels, availability of master tracks, good parts for all the instruments, etc. I don't think they're leaving out Claption because they think he's of no interest or not good music. Make the suggestions and if it's possible, they'll be working on getting a lot of the more popular/better suggestions. Better yet, fire off some letters to the band and their labels urging them to allow their tracks to be on the game.

I'd love to see some of the more guitar based Kansas in there, like Sparks of the Tempest or Lightning's Hand. The solo in Lightning's Hand would be so awesome! >.< (As I'm watching someone else attempt it)
I know there are so many more I'd like to see done, but that's the one that comes to mind at the moment.

More Rush would be sweet!
especially the album Permanent Waves from 1980. the song Natural Science Would be insanely fun.
Of Course Zeppelin would be awesome too.
And i dont know if anyone has mentioned them but Yes would be fun for this game. It might actually make bass hard for some songs lol.

Well, I personally don't have confidence in Harmonix's choice of good songs, I mean, I don't understand the 50 modern rock songs, and then what 12 songs from the 60's and 70's. But really they need to do something fast because this game is fun, but once the 20 songs I play in this game are mastered, I really won't be playing anymore....in plus it gets boring playing the same songs over and over again.
Guns N Roses:
Sweet Child of Mine
Paradise City
Welcome to The Jungle
Buddy Guy
Damn Right, I've Got The Blues
Mustang Sally
She's A Superstar
Midnight Train

I think you are an idiot. You wouldn't have what you have today without Classic Rock, which is still considered the highest selling music today. What you need to get over is your little All American Reject *** **** and don't post on a thread that you don't care for.
