Tonight's Sad Rock Band Tale

360 Red Ringed twice tonight. Had a power surge during the 6th and final song of a setlist on Rock Band, right near the end of Enter Sandman. So I lost all the data from that. Turned it back on and the red ring quickly flashed before booting. My wireless adapter wouldn't work and I couldn't get any controllers to connect to the console, except for the RB guitar. Fooled around for a bit and then shut it off and started unplugging things. Went to turn it back on and the red ring showed again and stayed on. Unplugged everything even the hard drive and let it cool for a while and it seems to work fine now, but I have a bad feeling it's just going to **** out again =[

That stinks, if you do get the red rings you could keep trying the towel trick :)

Yeah. that happened the week i got Halo 3. it got the red ring and stopped working. I had to send it to Microsoft and they gave me a new one free of charge. it takes about a week to get to you though.

my 360 redringed the weekend directly following Halo 3's release. Just as my friends came over to play.....:( Luckiily I was able to use my dad's 360:D
