If you aren't on Gold yet, this is great news! FREE X-Box Live Gold from noon on 11/20 - noon on 11/23!

Microsoft have announced that they will be offering free Xbox Live for all Silver accounts in the coming weekends to coincide with yesterday's release of Facebook, Twitter, Last.fm et al on the dashboard (and of course 1 vs. 100 Season 2 Coming Soon!),

During the free LIVE Weekends, all Xbox LIVE Silver members can enjoy: online multiplayer, Facebook, Twitter, Last.FM, Netflix, Sky Player, Halo Waypoint and 1 v 100*

Here is the schedule of when the freeness starts for Silver Members:

For all Xbox LIVE regions except those in Europe, Xbox LIVE Silver members will have free access from November 20th from 12n ET /9a PT /17:00 GMT until November 23rd from 12n ET /9a PT /17:00 GMT

For All European Xbox LIVE regions, Xbox LIVE Silver member will have free access from November 25th from 17:00 GMT until November 30th at 17:00 GMT

*Some features are only available in specific regions.

For all of you with silver accounts, now is the time to get planning some boosting sessions!

Good for me. I'm been running on 48 gold cards for the last week. I recently let my gold run out to remove the credit cards off my account so I could use prepaid cards. Still haven't got around to get one yet.

I'm excited to try it out since I have satelite internet. X-Box won't confirm or deny my ability to play on LIVE, and I don't want to pay for the membership to find out it doesn't work. This is a great way fao a lot of people to test drive LIVE.

If you say silver when it asks you if you want to use a prepaid card it will give you one month gold free

Yay. Except my gold is and has been good through sometime toward the end of 2010 (I stocked up on subscription cards during a sale). :p ;)

I think Gold is worth having. I don't play online nearly as much as my husband, but it's still worth it for me. I watch Netflix streaming through my 360. You also need Gold to play 1 vs. 100... doesn't that start up again soon?
