Ok,so after playing the game all day on expert drums me and my buddy become Hall of Fame Inductee's. So then we're like, alright lets try the Endless Setlist on Expert,so I was cool with that. So more then halfway through,Im playing and my drum pedal gets a crack in both sides right below the Orange Bar there. I lLooked at the support page, and id didnt say anything for that. My Guitar Also broke about a few weeks after purchase.Never played much on it,but the Down strum doesnt work, and the Star Power engagement doesnt work properly. What should I do about the Cracked drum pedal?

just rma the pedal. i sent a question asking if cracked/broken pedals were covered under the warranty and they replied with a "yes it is". just complete the rma form the best you can for the pedal and they'll send a new one.

RMA the pedal?
Replace it. Go to the support site:
http://support.ea.com/cgi-bin/ea.cfg/php/enduser/rockband.php
And follow the steps to get a new one sent to you. There's just a couple questions it asks about the problem you have. Just say the pedal doesn't work.
You have 2 options from there:
1. They'll send you the new piece Express if you give them a credit card number to hold against. (That's just for their safety so they don't get ripped off) You send back the broken piece in the box they give the new one in.
Or 2. If you don't have a credit card, use regular service, which takes longer. They send you an empty box, you send them the broken piece, then once they get that, they send the new piece.
If you can, try your best to use a credit card, or ask your parents to do it for you. Just be sure to send the broken pedal back because then you get charged $120 if you don't.
I've already went through the process once, it was very simple.

Ooo,hey Marty. Thanks man. "If you don't have a credit card, use regular service" do you mean like a mail in thing?

Hey lol.
Yea, there's Express, and the Regular service. Express is faster, they send you the new piece first, and then you return the old piece in the same box.
When you use Regular (which doesn't require the credit card) it takes longer, because they send you an empty box first, you send them the broken piece first, and THEN they send you the new piece.

My pedal cracked in half completely, being held together by duct tape currently, and working not too badly I might add. Anyways I recently put in a request for a new drum pedal. The questions they ask you don't quite touch on the topic of a snapped pedal, but I've heard they are willing to replace them anyways.
I did express so while they basically hold my money hostage with my credit card number, they are sending me the pedal first and then I must send them back the broken one. Sounds like a good deal to me, hopefully it will arrive in a few days.
Similarly I am getting a new guitar as well as mine does not strum up.

Yea,Ill probably do the regular. Since its not completely cracked should I just keep playing on it until it breaks? And I gotta send in my guitar too. Can I do that the Regular way also?
And how much is shipping for this stuff?

You can do it regular or express, whatever floats your boat. I believe shipping is completely free. They send you prepaid boxes for it. I'm not sure about the bass pedal, I don't know if you want to break it more. And yes you can send your guitar the same way.

Can anyone access the support site today? I tried and while the initial link at http://support.ea.com/rockband works fine the site goes to "page not found" when I click to continue. Did this in both IE and Firefox so just checking to make sure it's them and not me. :)
Thanks!

Pedal broke last night during BWT. Almost finished a song then failed it at the very end.
Time to call support AGAIN.

Don't worry too much about breaking them, or your replacements you'll get over time for that matter. The current design is highly flawed, it is destined to break. Until a redesign starts shipping out, this will be a broken record for you.
