Guitar Unable to Downwards Strum, Any Tips?

Like a couple of weeks ago while I was just playing rock band my guitar lost the ability to strum down which really pisses me off.

Any tips for fixing it?

BTW, I have it on the Xbox 360.

Don't fix it. Send it for replacement.

mine did the same thing, excepts its up.... on the support site it says blow into it with an air comressor. i havent tried yet, nut ill tell you if it works

Well I've looked It up I've sent mine back its the connecting pins they have this gap that messes with them but i didnt mess with it just send it in and you'll get the new Magnetic strum version

Send it in or start strumming upwards.

Watch this video. There is a quick fix that does not void warranty. All you need is a screw driver. here is the link.
