Terrible mic lag with Beatles:Rockband

It´s impossible to sing in Beatles:Rockband... The voice comes out a second after it was sung... I´m using a PS3 connected directly to a Sony LCD using HDMI. System is calibrated and other instruments work fine, but singing is impossible. One of the major things that attracted me to this game was singing!!!

this worked for me but i think the delay was about a quarter of a second for us:

changed a setting on the TVs menu system to "game mode"

Ours is a sony tv connected via HDMI too. We recalibrated sound and video after making this change and all is OK now.

Definitely use Game Mode. I use a Sony SXRD connected to a PS3 via HDMI. Without Game Mode the audio lags terribly.
