On expert drums.. this song is the devil. Seriously, this thing is lucifer himself. I can struggle my way through most of the song (I have a weakness for constant triple bass) but when it gets to the end part.. no chance in hell. I can conjure up maybe half of the notes but on expert, the crowd shows no mercy. I just don't get it, I'm frustrated.. I must have practiced this thing a million times. Another funny thing is, is that I've beaten all the other songs that I can (and have). Which includes all the DLC (except Blackened, but let's not talk about that song on expert).
Does anybody possibly have any tips??

I have only attempted it once.
I beat every other song in the set in 1 attempt (except I had to restart Foreplay 2 times, but 95% of that song is easy).
I think the key on Reaper is just to lock in on the 8th note bass drum thing and just let that go constantly while you hammer out the snare part, assuming you failed around 60% where I did.
I'll work on that song more tomorrow and see if I have any other ideas, but to my knowledge, it's just 8th notes on the kick with the other thing.

Wont Get Fooled Again on Expert is crazy. The best drum song (counting skillful drumming) in rockband.

Yea I failed Don't Fear the Reaper as many times as I failed Won't Get Fooled Again on expert drums. It's pretty tough. If you can nail the ending, you're golden. It really just takes being able to make it click, and that means practice. It's pretty sweet when you can nail it though :) Good luck!

The drummer that plays with me has a second person do the bass pedal to get passed it. But if he had 2 bass pedals he could do it. (foot injury, not quick nuff)

Attach a cowbell and hit it. As always, more cowbell!
I'm sorry, I had recently discovered the cowbell skit (yes i've been living under a rock) and it's still fairly entertaining to me.

I keep failing the reaper at 93% on hard. Outro3 is killing me.

I only finally nailed the end this weekend. My only tip is to actually ignore the snares/Reds at first. For the majority of the song, you'll have 3 blue/oranges, then the red/green backbeat. Learn that first. Like, really learn it so you could do it without thinking about it too much. Then the next part the song throws at you is a snare between the first two blue/oranges. My personal trick here is to actually ignore the snare at first, especially if you're in practice mode. Really feel the 3 blues and make sure your nailing them. Then try to add the red. Keep trying to add it until you start flailing, then drop it out. Refocus on 3 blues without the snare.
You get the idea. The 3 blues beat should be what keeps you on time. Adding in the reds on top of that will screw you up, but only add them a little at a time. The final full outro involves b/o, r, b/o, r, b/o, r/g, but the blues are still the exact same pattern from the first half of the song. Everytime it starts falling appart, drop the reds, refocus, then start adding them in again.
Nailing this pattern is one of the coolest Drum moments in Rock Band, in my opinion. Enjoy yourself!

I have only played the song in BWT, so having extra overdrive always saves me.
