PS2 version not saving Solo Tour

I have a solo Guitar tour that is saved after about 12 songs.

I can resume the tour and have finished up through like 28 songs. However after turning my PS2 off and coming back to it later, none of my further progress to 28 songs is saved. I even tried backing out to title screen, to make sure it would be autosaving This has happened about 3 times and I'm getting tired of going over the same songs again.

I don't get any error messages or anything, just no further progress is saved.

Any suggestions? Could my memory card be full or something?

Manual save? I don't think the size of the save file would be increasing so I doubt it's because of your mem card.

Thanks for the reply...looks like my 3 your old was messign around and disabled AutoSave. Could of sworn that I looked yesterday and did not see this Manual Save either but I found this screen.
