Rock Band Fully Stocked At Local Stores

I went this afternoon to BestBuy and found a pallet of Rockband in stock. Then I looked for GH3 and they were sold out. Then at Target, it was the same thing. Apparently, it's either the news about the bad guitars or the cost that seems to keep them still on the shelves.

I bought Rockband, and returned it after having a dead guitar right out of the box, and then getting a broken replacement.

I hope EA or HMX has rectified the problems because its going to be a nightmare when all the kids open up their gifts to find out that it doesnt work.

I understand that they are sending replacements...blah blah blah but the problem is, if they are just sending out defective product in hopes that because they are trying is a solution, they are in for BIG problems. I just hope they are able to fix the problems so I can pick up version 2.0

If you're looking for this game its fully stocked! And I'm talking about the special edition.

What system? I see a lot of bundles for Playstation but just like you no Guitar Hero 3's, they're all sold out.

I'm glad I have both and don't care though.

Odd, because as I was browsing multiple stores here, it was the exact opposite.

Target had copies of GH3 + Guitar, no RB.

Wal-Mart - Same thing.

GameStop - 1 copy of RB bundle, multiple copies of GH3.

Up here in Canada ( no whining , or angry post here) most store had a few for our "Official" launch and from now on in its drop shipments Best Buy screwed things up and their employees just started throwing them on the floor, while they were supposed to follow suit with Futureshop (Like another Bestbuy) and provide it the 28th building their stock up and giving everyone a fair chance on the 28th

I haven't actually looked while I've been up here in Nebraska, so I dunno what it's like here. But if things are still like they were last time I was in a Best Buy at home, they had tons of GH3 bundles everywhere and not a RB bundle in sight. I'm guessing it's a location thing more than anything.

I was kind of surprised to see a decent amount of RB bundles for the 360 at about half the places I've been to(CC, Best buy, target, etc). I see the PS3 version loaded up at most places though.

One of my local Wal Marts had 2 pallets (one of the 360 version and one of the PS3 version) stacked 4 high of the Rock Band bundles. I checked the date on the 360 version and they were mostly late November. I would have to say that this date might be more reliable than the earlier ones.

I got Rock Band on the 20th or 21st, and I had to go to 3 different Best Buys, and 2 EB Games to find a 360 version, all the ones I went to had the PS3 Rock Band in full-stock

Every store around here has plenty of GH3's but no Rockband bundles.

Here in Albany, NY....there are NO Rock Band bundles anywhere! However, there's a ton of Guitar Hero III bundles for ALL systems.

By the way....I got a Guitar Hero II game w/guitar (360) for $59.00 on Black Friday. I think there's going to be another "after-Christmas sale" on GHII (use it for the extra guitar) at Circuit City.
