Nov 17 manufacture date - is it a good batch?

Hello all, I just got rock band, not opened yet, but I have a question. The manufacturing date on my box says Nov 17... is there any date where HMX decided to put better equipment in the boxes, or do I have the same odds as anyone else of getting a faulty game?

The majority of all the rock band bundles work fine. Regardless of date.

I have one of the first-run editions, I play every day, and all my gear works perfectly fine.

Why not just plug it in and play the game and have fun?

If you happen to have the bad luck of getting defective equipment, Harmonix/EA have taken the steps to fix the problem for you. It might take a little bit of time.. but if I were you I'd cross that bridge when I got there.

Personally, if I were JUST NOW getting Rock Band I'd be too anxious to play the damn game to be on my computer posting hypothetical questions. That's just me though.

I just got it but I'm letting it cool down lest the RRoD falls upon it.
