Easiest Expert Drum Perfection

I don't know if this has been discussed but I Think I'm Paranoid by Garbage is the easiest song to get 100% on on expert drums. I mean seriously, there is no fast rolls or anything and if you practice this song without being nervous on perfecting it you'll get it just fine.

If you're still nervous don't use the star power on the rainbow roads but instead have a second to readjust and take a breath. I've gotten 100% on this song and used all the star power for even more notes to hit.

29 Fingers is also very easy if you don't use star power since there is only one drum roll and it's very easy.

Say it Ain't So, if memory serves, was pretty easy to 100% on expert.

Those are the 3 easiest songs, but Say It Ain't So has one tricky roll part, and 29 Fingers has some rolls as well. My Flawless Drumming achievement was on I Think I'm Paranoid.

We could use a general "Easiest X Perfect" song thread. How about this one? Nothing wrong with going for low-hanging fruit when you're an achievement junkie without godlike skills... We also need easiest guitar, easiest bass, easiest vocals.

I've heard Paranoid for easiest vocals, but I have yet to nail it properly... and likewise, I Think I'm Paranoid for easiest bass (remember, upstrums only!). What do you think?

I used "Here it Goes Again" for my bass upstrums. After seeing the bass part on Maps though, I'd have to say that is hands down the easiest for the achievement.

Drums, I did mine on "I Think I'm Paranoid". I think I've gotten a few 100% since then, but nothing jumps out at me. Maybe "Gimme Shelter"...that's fairly straightforward, but definitely not as easy.

Guitar I've gotten more than I can count, I really don't know which was easiest.

Vocals are a sticking point, but I haven't really tried to get a FC on them yet. I think "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" would be pretty good for that one.

I FCed Blitzkrieg Bop on vocals, it really helps if you sing like those people you see in videos, slurring every word.

Also got it quite easily on "Brass In Pocket"

Well i tried online for the first time the other day. Hadn't really managed to get much drum practice on anything but easy.

I chose buddy holly and the guy i was playing chose expert.

Needless to say he hammered me but i got 89% which i was quite pleased with.

i can't remember what song i got 100% drums achievement for, but it wasn't "i think i'm paranoid" which was surprising because that seems to be hands down the easiest song for drums..

and the other funny thing was that i missed like 1 or 2 notes and still got 100%.. has that happened to anybody else?

yup, i got mine on "I Think I'm Paranoid", but i am not sure what song to do guitar on to get it, i havent really done much besides playing drums...

It was the first song I 100%d and gold starred on Expert Drums. And this was before I could get to the final teir on Hard drums.

That's why people differentiate between 100% and FC, or "Full Combo."

If you hit every note, you get 100%. An FC is dependent on hitting every note, and only every note. If you add notes (for example, accidentally tap the bass pedal twice when it only needs to be hit once), but you still manage to hit every other note, you'll break your combo (you can tell because your multiplier hits x1 again), yet you can still get 100%.

I'm not sure if my snare pad is just not responsive enough, but I've tried at least 20 times in practice to hit that 'roll', and I've only pulled it off once at full speed (80% speed and below and I can get it everytime). I always miss one note in that really quick section.

I got my 100% on Gimme Shelter. My drum set sucks and makes it impossible to FC anything, though.

Guitar - In Bloom, I think. Gotten it on several others since then, but I believe that was the first.

I perfected Roxanne on Expert Guitar after 2 tries. Was pretty easy.

Yeah, Roxanne is easy. I suck at Expert (even Hard) and I managed to get 97% on Expert my first try.

Time We Had (Mother Hips) is so easy on expert I was able to 100% it before getting half way in the hard solo tour.

those odd quads between snare and hi-hat are evil, and I swear those something odd in the hi-hat roll sections as I never FC those damn things. One of the few 'sane' songs I haven't five starred yet. :\

Yeah it seems like every song people will say is super easy for this or that is a notorious devil for raping your FCs on another instrument.

Here's another vote for "I Think I'm Paranoid"... it's the one I got 100% on as well. The thing that makes 100% so difficult on drums are the drum pads themselves. Unless you have a perfect set of pads, sometimes the notes just don't register on rolls. Sometimes, too, when I hit two pads at the same time, it will not register one of them or it will register a note on a pad I haven't even hit. It doesn't happen often, but it only takes one time to ruin a try for 100%.
