I got the game as a xmas/birthday gift for my brother, I read about equipment failures so I opened it up to give it a go and I have a broken guitar, it double strums and sometimes doesn't strum at all and has pretty annoying clicky frets.
I've been reading around and it seems a lot of people are getting crappy equipment back after sending their crap in.
His birthday is next month and he'll be in town, I'd love to have a fully working copy of Rock Band waiting for him so I don't want to have to send the equipment back several times...
Anyway, do they have the equipment in working order now or should I give it another couple weeks?
Oh and while I can adequately test the Guitar out, I am terrible with the drums, is there a good method of testing for a beginner or should I just send them in too assuming they're broken? This is a launch bundle...
