Rockband instrument compatability

Can anyone tell me if the instruments for Rockband (Xbox 360) are compatible with the Wii Band Hero game (not bundle)? I've read a bunch of the compatibility charts but do not see Band Hero since it's pretty new. I went to Kmart today & they didn't have the Band Hero for the Xbox, but the guy told me that the game for Wii was compatible for all gaming instruments (but he wasn't an expert, just trying to sell). Before I open the thing & unable to return it, I'd like to know if it's even going to work. On those compatibility charts, it looks like most of the older Wii games are incompatible with other instruments....since this one is new, just thought things might be updated. Thanks for any help!

No. Xbox360 controllers are not compatible with the Wii. That is not restricted to just Rock Band or Guitar Hero/Band Hero instruments, but applies to ALL Xbox360 controllers.
