Reason for Requesting?

Why is this required? to filter spamming maybe? i feel stupid for putting stupid reasons like "Because it would be fun" <= thats just an opinion and hell if its someones favorite band of course it would be fun....to them.

Seriously is anyone else putting reasons or just pressing alskdjfa;l in the spot? does it really matter?

I would like to think a well thought-out reason will get more attention from The Guy In Charge than random junk. But I don't know for sure one way or the other.

I think that a musician or the like could give more reasons why a song would be good for this game. I however, just usually put things like "This song rocks!"

I would think that the people reviewing these requests can say "oh yeah, that song would be cool, I am going to escalate this request" without too much extra info.
