Is anyone else really angry that you cannot have all 3 guitars playing at the same time? This is one of the reasons I bought this game.

Your not the only one (I'm fine about this but I've seen dozens of other threads about this, if your desire is a crappy game of four guitars, go buy guitar hero 5 or band hero, this is for Beatles fans)

What do you mean? There are two guitars and a bass in just about every Beatles song.

Where on the packaging/manual does it state that you can only use 2 guitars at the same time?

"Play Drums LEAD GUITAR and BASS GUITAR and sing three part harmonies"
Straight from the back of the case that I have in my hand.

Just look at any video or anything, there are never multiple guitars, just guitar and bass. Same with every other music game.

Guitar Hero 5, Band Hero
Also, 4 players is max, meaning you'd have to drop the drummer or the singer

I never played GH2 co op but I'm sure that's a no.
Still the option was there... that has to count for something.

Some songs had rhythm and some had bass. There weren't any songs that had both as options. Most songs just had bass.

Seriously, though.. is it that hard to do a little research before buying a game?
You can't blame HMX or the store where you bought the game for your own mistakes. I think it's rather obvious you can only play with two guitars (lead/rhythm and bass) at a time. It's been stated so many times before on and off the forum, so it's pretty stupid to get mad about the game setup just because you weren't smart enough to check up on it first.

Rhythm is the longest word in the english launguage with no vowels.
Anyway, the Lead guitar is a combination of lead and rhythm to maximize funness.

Twyndyllyngs is the longest word in English that doesn't contain one of the five vowels (AEIOU). It comes from Welsh and is obviously rare, but it does appear in the Oxford English Dictionary.
It turns out that "twyndyllyng" (singular) is a 15th century spelling of the word "twinling," which means, in modern English, "twin."

If TB:RB allowed 2 guitars they would both be bored out of their mind, one from always playing the backing rhythm, and the other waiting for their solo and fill moments.
Harmonix nailed this one sir! 2 guitar parts for the price of one on Rock Band!

You can always wait for Guitar Hero: The Beatles, which is slated to come out next year. I heard you can play the game with 17 vocalists, 4 drummers, and 9 guitarists simultaneously.

Good Morning Good Morning would mostly be a bunch of quarter note chords on rhythm guitar and a lot of dead air on lead guitar. A lot of their later songs only had one guitar track, or none at all. They were considering two guitar parts, but in the end decided to stick with the standard Rock Band setup.

Despite whatever you say about the Rock Band Franchise, we are talking about Rock Band : The Beatles. There were 4 (FOUR) of them. If you are so simple minded and wanna jam on some other songs with a bass and a lead guitar, drums and 3 vocal melodies than this should satisfy you. I just expected more from a brand that was endorsed by: THE BEATLES. Why as a band would you have a game with your name on it when all of your members could not perform? If anybody can provide an intelligent answer why there cannot be 5 (or6) players in the game (2 guitar, bass, drum and vocal+1) than dont bother to reply because you do not understand. I take it that most of you guys never listened to The Beatles before this game.

Almost all people here have listened to The Beatles beforehand, and many of them have become much bigger fans thanks to this game. I heard them before the game, sure, but this game really made me love them. You seem so against people discovering the music later than you.

There's also the fact that the Xbox 360 and Wii can only connect up to four controllers.

I am not at all against people discovering music later than me. I am trying to make a statement about the game to the publisher, not the people playing. I dont see why everyone is taking this like a personal attack against Rock Band players and people that have been playing the Franchise for so long. If you cannot see why I think that there should be 3 guitars in this game, then MODS please lock the thread. If you think that it should truly be the Fab 4, MODS make this a sticky so people dont think that its truly a game where you can have a true Beatles experience.

It's not like people from Harmonix are reading this thinking "They had TWO guitars?" They thought it through and decided to stick with the standard Rock Band setup for a number of reasons:
-Xbox 360 and Wii can only connect four controllers, making a full band impossible with five parts.
-A lot of the later songs only have one guitar part, or even none at all
-Many of the songs have guitar parts that don't exactly adapt to exciting plastic guitar gameplay separately, but are more fun when they chart the best of the guitar parts
-Anyone familiar with Rock Band is only expecting one guitar part, bass, drums, and one vocal part in the first place. The harmonies were more than we asked for.

Here's the dilemma, would it be fun? I mean at times, John just played the same chord with rhythm guitar.
Oh, and if it was as you say a "true experience", it should have included a keyboard....and an orchestra...and fans that yelled louder than your music....

Stop playing games, go outside, join a band. Your passion is obviously limiting your experience here.

This^^^^^ I Have plenty of fun playing The Beatles Rock Band The way it is
Also since you are so confident that there should be "2 Guitars" how would that work out, since some songs have no guitar at all? Or one guitar, then would you just leave the rhythm out? That would be quite a bit of songs....

I hate to come out as an ass but it's simple:
Do your research BEFORE buying something, not afterwards.
Whatever you pull out, there's no excuse. We all know that with minimal research you could have known before hand.

You mean like the research about the Lego Rock Band export?
It was known well in advance that TB:RB would have only 1 guitar track. Try harder.
