Cake - Fashion Nugget.
Its got sweet basslines, interesting lyrics, some great guitar licks and some decent drumming. Frank Sinatra, The Distance, Friend is a Four Letter Word, I Will Survive, Its Coming Down, She'll Come Back To Me are all fantastic songs that have fun parts for everybody.
On the opposite side of the spectrum, some King Crimson, Can, Mars Volta or Hella please.
