Is it possible to do vocals without the beats?

Hi all,
I'm playing guitar and doing vocals at the same time which is fine, but the beats you need to do (like tambourine) is truly unnecessary. Also, you have to use two accounts to do this. Is it possible to do vocals and guitar on one account and/or turn the beats off of vocals? Thanks.

1) No, you cannot do vocals and play guitar with the same character.

2) You don't need to play the tambourine/cowbell/etc. parts. They are EXTRA parts that add a couple thousand EXTRA points. There is absolutely no penalty whatsoever for not playing them. It doesn't effect your percentage or your "fail meter" one bit.

You can't use the same character, but you don't need two _accounts_. Just go to band world tour, sign in with your one account, and use the guitar and then the controller to join/choose a rocker.
