It doesn't matter, the song is random on tug o war and score duel.

Um, no, it's not. When I play tug o war on drums (the only one I've played), I'm always the leader, and I pick the song. I can choose "Random", or I can pick a specific song. Admittedly I've only played it a handful times, but those times happened to be last night, so it's fresh in my mind.

So I actually had the opposite question: I'd like to play it and *not* be the leader. Anyone know how? I wonder if it depends on which player has higher (or lower) stats? It might actually make sense for the less-skilled player to be able to pick the songs.

Dude, I *just* played it, and I selected the songs. Perhaps it's different between Xbox and PS3? I have a PS3.

I play online all the time. In Tug of War and Score Duel if you pick player match, then you get to choose the song.

However if you pick Ranked Match, then like everyone else here has said it is a random song! So if you want to pick songs then you need to play a player match which will not be ranked on the boards.

In Ranked the track its random but on Played you can choose the song!
