Rock Band Pedals

I was very interested in purchasing Rock Band for the Xbox 360. That was until I heard the drum set has pedals. I looked online to see if the pedals could not be used, but I found that you have to use them.

I am in a wheelchair so I am unable to use the pedals. Sure, I could just use the guitar part, you might say, but if that is the case, I'd stick to Guitar Hero. Is there any plans to release an update where you can turn off the pedals? I guess until then, I won't be purchasing Rock Band.

I think there was a thread around here about unlocking a mode to skip the bass part. Here is another reason just for that!

Since the functionality was in the demos in the retail locations, I dont see why this should be too much trouble for the Rock Band devs.
