It's December 23 which is the Celebration of Festivus: The Holiday for The Rest of Us!

With the ceremonial bare aluminum pole set up it's time for the Airing of Grievances where you get to rant over who or what has disappointed you in the past year. Since this is a games forum Airing of Grievances should be videogames-oriented. Try and keep it down to one Airing and try to keep as civil as possible, if things get out of control then it won't be long before a Mod yells out "That's it, time for Feats of Strength!" upon which this thread will be pinned and Festivus will be over.

hmn, what to start off with...

I might as well bring up Rock Band, particularly the Stratocaster peripheral. It's bad enough that the thing feels like it'll fall apart at any moment and there's tons of disgruntled players after their Fender's strum bar or something else broke. With me I've been lucky that mine hasn't broken yet...the reason why is because I haven't played it that much because whenever I play it my arm that I use to hold the neck of the guitar feels like it's about to be pulled out of its socket. What's with that?! I've never had that feeling of possible shoulder dislocation when playing the Xplorer or Les Paul.

Okay, who's next in Airing their Grievances?

I see someone's been hitting up the Seinfield a little too much :p

Crappy Wii Ports

Ok so let's cut to the chase. The Wii is an innovative console and developers feel the need that they have to get their games on this hot new console. What usually happens is that the game is watered down; PSONE graphics, wonky and unintuitive control scheme with crappy use of Wiimote and Nunchuck, and pretty much anything else that barely passes by as a functioning game. Take Godfather: Blackhand edition (I think that's the Wii port). It comes out, everyone buys it. Why? Because people expect it to be true to the franchise. Well, guess what? Shame shame on you for buying the garbage. Just the same PS2 version, only worse. So developers; Stop Making Terrible Wii ports! Put a little time and effort into making a quality game experience we all can enjoy. (I'm a Wii owner, and I feel neglected :()
